This February 4th, UGHE is honoring World Cancer Day by taking part in its global #IAmAndIWill campaign. Today we share the personal commitments of UGHE students, staff, faculty, and partners who, collaboratively, are supporting World Cancer Day’s mission of preventing cancer deaths and ensuring equal access to life-saving cancer treatment and care. #IAmAndIWill is focussed on an individual’s commitment to act, whoever and wherever you are.

Through training the next generation of global health leaders and leading the extension of the Butaro Cancer Center, UGHE is actively supporting cancer research, prevention and treatment to ensure the most vulnerable have access to quality care.
