Irenee Nshimiyimana is a highly focused person with more than 11 years’ hands-on lab experience. Irenee holds a Bachelor’s degree in Biomedical Laboratory sciences and Biotechnologies from Institut d’Enseignement Supérieur de Ruhengeri. He is also an active member of Rwanda Allied Health Professions Council (RAHPC). He underwent several related laboratory trainings in the country and abroad. He especially was trained in histo-pathology laboratory. Irenee has got skills in research and was involved in different research related to pathology laboratory and is the author of 3 publications and has presented in different conferences both nationally and internationally. Before joining UGHE, Irenee was an employee of Butaro Hospital cancer center of excellence where he assisted in moving from an empty room to a fully functioning anatomic pathology laboratory which provides diagnosis using a variety of methods including Digital Pathology.
