Chisom Nwaneri, MSc

Executive Education Teaching and Learning Officer

Chisom Nwaneri holds a Master of Science in Global Health from Duke University and a Bachelor of Science in Biology with a minor in Spanish from the University of Maryland, Baltimore County where she was a Meyerhoff Scholar. During her academic career, Chisom’s passion for improving maternal and child health (MCH) led her to conduct a retrospective study on maternal mortality in Western Jamaica and a mixed methods study on regional disparities in the under-five mortality rate in China.

Additionally, Chisom has worked with undergraduate students inside the classroom, using policy analysis tools on a range of global health policy topics, and outside the classroom, assisting students with career-related professional development via the university career center. Prior to joining UGHE, she worked on the global health team at DAI Global, LLC providing project management support to three USAID funded projects. Her global health education, research background, and experiences working in higher education led her to join the UGHE team where she serves as the Executive Education Teaching and Learning Officer.
