Dieudonne Hakizimana, MSc

Dieudonne Hakizimana holds a Master’s degree in Global Health Delivery from the University of Global Health Equity (UGHE), a Master’s degree in Epidemiology from the University of Rwanda and a Bachelor of Science in Nursing Studies from the University of the West of Scotland, UK.

Mr. Hakizimana has 10 years of experience working in the Rwanda health system, having taken on increasing responsibility at several local and international institutions within projects coordination, research and monitoring and evaluation (M&E). In his most recent position, in addition to serving as a part-time UGHE Teaching Assistant, Mr. Hakizimana was a Research Associate at the Clinton Health Access Initiative (CHAI). There he was involved in program evaluation to generate evidence for decision-making in the Rwanda Ministry of Health. Before working at CHAI, he held several other positions, serving as M&E and Quality Assurance Manager at Society for Family Health (SFH) in Rwanda and as a mentor in the Rwinkwavu District Hospital. Apart from M&E, his main interests include implementation science and mentorship for health system strengthening.
