Janet Kaviiko joined the University of Global Health Equity as the Director of Organizational Development in December, 2018. She holds a bachelor’s degree in Industrial and Organizational Psychology from Makerere University in Uganda and is currently pursuing a master’s in Human Resources Management, also at Makerere University. Ms. Kaviiko is an HR professional with seven years of international management experience, and proven HR leadership, consulting, and relationship building capabilities.

Ms. Kaviiko has extensive experience in the field of human resource management. For the past four years, she has worked at BBOXX Africa Management Limited, a solar power systems manufacturing company, where she most recently held the position of Human Resources Operations Partner – Africa. In this role, she oversaw human resources for 12 countries across Africa and coordinated with employees in the UK and China. Prior to BBOXX, Ms. Kaviiko led human resources for a civil engineering firm, and she previously worked for Barclays Bank. Across these experiences, she consistently demonstrated her capacity to foster collaboration in diverse and often ambiguous environments.
