Jenae Logan, MSc
Director of the Department of Executive Education
Jenae Logan leads UGHE’s Executive Education Department in designing and implementing short-course trainings for global health professionals from around the world. She also serves as co-director of the Practicum course within the Master of Science in Global Health Delivery (MGHD) program.
Ms. Logan joined UGHE in October 2016 as a Teaching and Learning Officer within the Masters of Science in Global Health Delivery (MGHD) Program before serving as Research Development Officer and then Deputy Director of Executive Education. She has a MSc in Global Health, a BSc in Biology, and a Certificate in Genome Science and Policy, all from Duke University. Ms. Logan’s academic research experiences include developing a Responsible Conduct of Research (RCR) video training series for students and staff at Kilimanjaro Christian Medical Center in Moshi, Tanzania; and researching ethical, legal and social issues surrounding prenatal genetic testing technologies in low-resource settings.
Prior to joining the UGHE team, Ms. Logan worked as a Research Analyst with the Duke Global Health Institute’s One Health research group. She has also spent several years in research and administrative roles with the Chordoma Foundation, a non-profit devoted to accelerating research and building a patient support network for patients with the rare cancer chordoma.
