A foundational program designed for educators, clinical supervisors, and health professionals who wish to formalize and strengthen their educational practice. This program is designed to develop the basic educational capabilities of healthcare educators by providing them with a foundation in health professions education, instructional design, assessment methods, curriculum development, and equity in HPE. Graduates of this level are equipped with the necessary skills to undertake educational roles in their respective health professions. Hence, they can contribute to teaching and assessment but are not yet prepared to lead educational programs.

Bachelor’s degree in a health-related field from an accredited university
Professional experience in teaching, supervision, or educational leadership within health-related higher education institutions.
Institutional support: Employer endorsement confirming protected time to attend online and in-person sessions.
Strong motivation to improve teaching and contribute to education at their home institution.
