Rashidah Nambaziira, MSc

Rashidah Nambaziira holds a Master’s degree in Global Health Delivery from the University of Global Health Equity (UGHE). She has over 8 years of experience managing a healthcare NGO, coordinating research and training programs for health workers in the field of Emergency medicine in Uganda. Through her career she has gained experience of developing short trainings for health-workers, and developing curriculum for academic institutions in Uganda. She is passionate about comprehensive training of health professionals on social aspects of healthcare delivery, interprofessional collaboration in healthcare, and advocacy for equitable policies and systems for both health-workers and patients. She is particularly interested in the role of gender and culture as a determinant to healthcare access, specifically emergency care and sexual reproductive health. 

In her most recent position, she was coordinating curriculum delivery for a residency program at Mbarara University of Science and Technology in Uganda, and managing M&E for the residency program’s partnerships. She also recently completed a costing study of a breast cancer early detection program in Burera district, Rwanda.
