Non-Technical Skills for Surgery in Variable Resource Context

The Center for Equity in Global Surgery, University of Global Health Equity in collaboration with the College of Surgeons of East, Central, and Southern Africa, is pleased to announce the Post-Conference Non-Technical Skills for Surgery in Variable Resource Contexts (NOTSS-VRC) Workshop. This interactive workshop is designed to equip surgical teams with essential non-technical skills, including leadership, communication, teamwork, decision-making, and situational awareness, to enhance surgical safety and efficiency in variable-resource settings.

Who Can Apply

  • Residents in General Surgery, Orthopaedic Surgery, and Plastic Surgery.
  • Faculty and trainers involved in surgical education
  • Members of the surgical team, including operating room nurses, anaesthesiologists, anaesthetist technicians, and allied health professionals involved in perioperative care

Application Requirements
