The Innovation Center (IC) was officially opened in 2020 to support innovative ideas, translate ideas to practice, actively form partnerships, and encourage UGHE students to create and generate high-value solutions in addressing global health issues.

What We Do
East Africa Biodesign Fellowship Program
The East Africa Biodesign (EAB) is a pioneering collaboration among the University of Global Health Equity, the University of Rwanda, Kenyatta University, and the Stanford Byers Center for Biodesign. EAB is dedicated to driving need-driven innovation, grounded in a deep understanding of the unmet healthcare needs in the East African region, through teaching the Biodesign process to African innovators.
