Kelsey Ripp, MD

Assistant Professor in the Center for One Health and the Division of Clinical Medicine.

Kelsey Ripp (MD) is an assistant professor in the Center for One Health and the Division of Clinical Medicine. She is leading the Point of Care Ultrasound curriculum in the MBBS program and the curricular efforts to integrate One Health into the MBBS curriculum. She is also co-clerkship director of the Internal Medicine clerkship and is involved in both preclinical and clinical teaching for the MBBS/MGHD students.

Dr. Ripp received her B.S. in Human Biology and her M.D. from Brown University. She did her medical residency in Medicine and Pediatrics at University of Pennsylvania and Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia. She has a certificate in medical education from Harvard University. She has a long-standing interest in One Health and Planetary Health, and in particular, incorporating these perspectives into medical education. She is passionate about using these perspectives as clinicians to improve clinical care, in addition to addressing complex global health problems. She also works as a Hospitalist at the Alaska Native Medical Center in Alaska.
