Raj Kumar, President & Editor-in-Chief of Devex, recently conducted an interview with UGHE Vice Chancellor Prof. Agnes Binagwaho over Zoom regarding COVID-19 pandemic and its potential impact on Africa and the Global South at large. The interview was part of a series being conducted by Devex featuring various global health experts discussing current events related to the pandemic. 

Kumar, who visited and wrote about UGHE in 2019, discussed with Prof. Binagwaho how Rwanda — and UGHE, in particular — is responding to COVID-19, the level of international support needed by countries in the Global South, how global health will need to shift in the future, and more.
