Chany Uwase joined UGHE from Ishyo Arts Center where she interned as an Administrative Assistant tasked with daily office operations and coordinating artists logistics. She has experience in customer care, event organization and office management.

Ms. Uwase holds a Bachelor of Arts in International Relations with a concentration in Development Studies from the United States International University-Africa (USIU).  While at USIU she held multiple leadership roles, one of which included serving as President of the Rwanda Community.

Ms. Uwase is passionate about international politics, women’s rights and she strives to make a positive change in her community.
