Callixte Cyuzuzo, MSc, MPH
Research Assistant
Callixte Cyuzuzo is a researcher and a global health enthusiast with strong desires to see Rwandans accessing high quality education and healthcare services. He holds a Master of Medical Sciences in Immunology from Airlangga University, Indonesia, and a Master of Public Health with a concentration in Epidemiology from Diponegoro University, Indonesia.
Prior to joining UGHE, Mr. Cyuzuzo worked as a Teaching and Learning Coordinator at the University of Global Health Equity with the Global Health Corps Fellowship Program. He previously worked as an Assistant Lecturer in Biomedical Sciences, Medicine and Pharmacy with different academic institutions in Rwanda, a Research Assistant at Professor Nidom Foundation in Indonesia and a Research Consultant at Vital Strategies under the Rwanda Biomedical Centre, the implementation arm of Rwanda’s Ministry of Health.
His research interests are in the areas of microbiology, immuno-parasitology, oncology, communicable and non-communicable diseases, medical and healthcare education, and global and population health.
