Dr. Hilba holds a PhD in Medical Sciences and a Master of Public Health from Kyoto University, alongside an MBBS from the University of Khartoum. In her role, she oversees programs for faculty development, curriculum development, quality assurance and academic excellence. Prior to joining UGHE, Dr.Hiba worked as an assistant professor at the University of Medical Sciences and Technology in Sudan, where she spearheaded numerous academic excellence initiatives. Dr. Hiba’s career highlights include developing and implementing capacity–building programs for health professionals, managing multidisciplinary teams in higher education institutions, and contributing to research that bridges global health and medical education. Dr. Hiba is dedicated to promoting excellence and continuous improvement at UGHE, while working collaboratively with faculty and students to shape the future of global health education.
