Pacifique Ufitinema, MD, MSc
One Health Coordinator
Dr. Pacifique Ufitinema is a global health leader committed to advancing public health initiatives. She holds a Master of Science in Global Health Delivery from the University of Global Health Equity and earned her bachelor degree in General Medicine and Surgery from the University of Rwanda. Prior to joining the Center for One Health, she served as a General Medical Practitioner at two district hospitals in rural Rwanda and as a Community Outreach Coordinator at Nyamata Level II Teaching Hospital.
With extensive experience in clinical practice and public health, Dr. Pacifique has led interdisciplinary teams to improve healthcare delivery and community health outcomes. She has been involved in various health promotion campaigns, including HIV prevention initiatives and public health leadership training. Her role in community outreach mainly involved organizing health education programs, conducting screenings, and mentoring healthcare providers to enhance service delivery.
Passionate about preventive care, health education, and capacity building, Dr. Pacifique is committed to addressing public health challenges and reducing health disparities. She also aims to contribute to sustainable healthcare solutions and advance the mission of the Center for One Health.
