Facilities Manager

UWAJAMBO Marie Antoinette holds a Master of Science in Civil Engineering from the University of Nottingham in the United Kingdom – England, and a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from the University of Rwanda (former National University of Rwanda). Furthermore, she is a holder of Project Management Professional Credential “PMP®” by Project Management Institute – PMI.

Marie-Antoinette earned LEED green associate credential by U.S. Green Building Council – USGBC, which is “Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design” and green building practices and principles. She has received other different professional certificates such as professional certificate in contract management awarded by International Federation of Consulting Engineers (FIDIC), professional certificate in procurement for goods, works and services among others. Currently, she is pursuing IWFM Level 6 Certificate in Facilities Management.

Marie-Antoinette has over ten (10) years of proven experience in engineering practice and management of complex construction projects. Moreover, she has an extensive experience in facilities management of real estates as well as skyscraper properties. She furthermore possesses experience in procurement process and procedures.

Marie-Antoinette has teaching experience at higher education level. She has worked on various gender equity related projects and she has a strong understanding of gender analysis tools as well as experience in project proposal writing.

Marie-Antoinette is a member of different international professional organisations such as OWSD, PMI and RAWISE.

In her own words, Marie Antoinette aims to improve the quality of life through integration of people, place, process and technology within the built environment by applying principles of sustainable development.
