Aristide Shingiro was a recipient of the prestigious Paul Kagame Presidential Scholarship from 2012 to 2016 to study Civil Engineering at Washington and Lee University in Virginia, USA. After his time at Washington and Lee, he attended Texas A&M University’s Construction Management graduate school, and then worked for a facility management company based in San Antonio, Texas.

Mr. Shingiro returned to Rwanda in 2017. He worked for NPD Ltd as a Senior Planning and Cost Control Officer, and left NPD Ltd in June of 2018 to join UGHE. He is passionate about project management and improving people’s lives through energy-efficient and cost-effective infrastructure.
