Denise U. Kayigamba joined the UGHE team in March 2017. Mrs. Kayigamba holds a Bachelor of Law, and an MSc in Sustainable Public Procurement from the University of Turin.

Mrs. Kayigamba has over 10 years of procurement experience. Prior to joining the UGHE team, she worked on projects with government and development partners including the World Bank, the African Development Bank, African Capacity Building Foundation, and Japanese ODA Loans. Mrs. Kayigamba serves as a procurement trainer with CODEV Institute in Tunisia and is a registered advocate and former state attorney at the Rwanda Ministry of Justice. She is also registered with  Kigali International Arbitration Centre (KIAC) as a national arbitrator in commercial matters.
