Eléazar Ndabarora, PhD, RN

Eléazar Ndabarora, PhD, RN is the Nursing and Curriculum Expert in the Ministry of Health and Welfare in Liberia at Grand Bassa Community College. Dr. Ndabarora has experience in health systems strengthening; planning, monitoring and evaluating public health programs; health data quality management and informatics; and health policy and strategic planning. He is also an expert in community health nursing and has worked as a consultant and researcher in community and health systems research.
Dr. Ndabarora holds a PhD in Community Health from the University of KwaZulu-Natal in South Africa. He formerly served as the Director of Social and Community Medicine for Partners In Health in Rwanda and as a lecturer at the University of Rwanda. He has also managed planning, monitoring and evaluation within the Community Health Programs and Non-Communicable Diseases Division of Rwanda Biomedical Centre. He has worked in both district and referral hospitals in clinical and supervisory roles with various community and public health programs. Dr. Ndabarora is married with three children and considers his life enriched by his work, family and love of music; he is an accomplished guitarist and singer.
