Jose Edouard Munyangaju, MSc

Jose Edouard Munyangaju is a Rwandan with strong experience in the processes of design, development and implementation of health management information systems. He is especially skilled in electronic pharmaceutical information management systems, looking at key issues such as inadequate data and issues of interoperability, and proposing possible approaches to addressing those challenges.

Currently, Mr. Munyangaju holds the position of Senior Management Information Systems (MIS) Advisor for the Chemonics Global Health Supply Chain – Procurement and Supply Chain Management (GHSC-PSM) project. Prior to this, he was the Medical Supply Chain Coordination Officer in the Ministry of Health. He is a member of the e-Health technical working group that brings together different stakeholders in the field of management information systems for the health sector, with the vision to leverage health information technologies in order to improve health system processes and health outcomes. Mr. Munyangaju also has significant experience in development and implementation of pharmaceutical policy, supply systems, and regulatory affairs. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy and a Master of Science in Pharmacology.
