Jovial Thomas Ntawukuriryayo holds a MSc Degree in Global Health with a major in Non-Communicable Diseases from the University of Edinburgh, an MPH from the University of Liverpool, and a BSc in Physical Therapy from the University of Rwanda. Before joining UGHE, Mr. Ntawukuriryayo worked for the University of Rwanda as a Research Assistant. He has also held other positions including leading quality improvement activities at Nyamata Hospital where he helped the hospital achieve and maintain at least level one of accreditation. Mr. Ntawukuriryayo has made four publications in a peer-reviewed journal. He is passionate about health equity and patient safety and seeks to contribute to closing gaps in health systems.
