Marc Julmisse, MPH, RN

Marc Julmisse is the Chief Nursing Officer at Hôpital Universitaire de Mirebalais. Previously, Ms. Julmisse worked as the program manager and later the Chief of Party for Haiti programs for the Global Health Institute at Loma Linda University. Ms. Julmisse started in the nursing profession in 1998 as a licensed practical nurse. She later attended Atlantic Union College in Boston, MA for her ASN and BSN, and then Loma Linda University in California for her Master’s in Public Health, specializing in disaster management and program planning.
Ms. Julmisse has worked in various medical services such as ER, ICU, pediatrics, NICU, and community health and non-medical services as an executive assistant, office manager, and board liaison. She has worked in several countries around the world providing health care services before returning in 2010 to her native country, Haiti, as a Global Health Fellow.
