Solange Nakure

OnePIH Rwanda Partnerships Manager

Solange is the Rwanda Partnerships Manager for OnePIH (Inshuti Mu Buzima (IMB) and the University of Global Health Equity (UGHE)) where she is responsible for fostering and managing strategic partnerships. Prior to this role, Solange was working as the Executive Assistant to the Dean of School of Medicine and Health Sciences. In that capacity, she provided high-level administrative support to the Dean’s office and oversaw a variety of projects, including the inaugural Women Leaders in Global Health Conference in Rwanda, the accreditation of the School of Medicine at the Eastern Africa level, Dean’s Research Grants, academic partnerships, numerous white coat ceremonies, faculty training programs, research endeavors, and more. Before joining UGHE, she held a position in hospital administration at Hendrick Medical Center in Texas, United States.

Solange is a graduate from University of Suffolk, UK with a Master of Sciences in Public Health and from Abilene Christian University, US with a bachelor’s degree in pre-med biology with a minor in psychology. She is also a Bridge2Rwanda fellow, a trained leadership coach from Beyond Influence and project manager from the Project Management Institute.

Solange brings in 7 years of experience in project management, administration, outcome mapping, external relations and research in the global health. She is passionate about education, global health, social justice, as well as building meaningful collaborations and leveraging partnerships to drive positive change and to support UGHE/IMB’s commitment to teaching the next generation of global health leaders and providing quality healthcare to the most vulnerable communities.
