To celebrate the Master of Science in Global Health Delivery Class of 2018, UGHE hosted a series of events leading up to Commencement. To kick-off Commencement week, UGHE welcomed Dr. Roger Glass, Director of the National Institutes of Health’s Fogarty International Center, as he led the University’s first public lecture, an engaging discussion on rotavirus and rotavirus vaccines. The evening before Commencement Dr. Gary Gottlieb, CEO of Partners In Health, led a Master Class on The Nature of Mental Health in Health Systems Development and Strengthening. Now an annual tradition, the Master Class brings together graduates for an intimate discussion on global health issues. On June 3, capping off a week of celebrations, UGHE graduated the second class of master’s students, the MGHD Class of 2018. Below are a selection of photos from each event.
