Ruth Zihiga Uwase, MSc

COHERS Project Coordinator

Ruth is a global health leader with a Master of Science in Global Health Delivery from the University of Global Health Equity and a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Health from Daystar University. Her previous roles in organizations provided her with robust skills in monitoring and evaluation, research, and maternal and child healthcare. She has a passion for effecting positive change in healthcare systems and works to find innovative approaches to optimize the well-being of people, animals and the environment.

Her role with the Center for One Health involves coordinating activities in the Community One Health Empowerment in Rwanda and Senegal (COHERS) project, conducting research and liaising with local authorities to improve One Health in the Rwandan community.
