UGHE's Center for Equity in Global Surgery (CEGS) Logo Design Contest
Call for Submissions
As part of our partnership with the Intare Student Surgical Interest Group and the Center’s commitment to excellence, we would like to invite all members of Intare to participate in a CEGS Logo Design Competition. The CEGS logo Launch contest is a competition to identify the best logo design for the Center premised on equity, relevance, originality, creativity and quality of art.
Logo Brief
Overview
The Center for Equity in Global Surgery is looking for a logo that will identify our global institution. CEGS hereby announces a student-led competition to design a new logo. The new logo will be used on the CEGS social media handles, posters, souvenir trinkets and gifts, or anywhere else CEGS chooses.
Competition Guidelines/Contest Rules
By entering, participants agree to be bound by these contest rules. Violating any rule or not following instructions may eliminate participants’ eligibility.
Eligibility
- The competition is open to UGHE Intare members and students.
- Contestants are permitted to work in groups; however, regardless of group size, only one prize will be awarded for the winning submission.
Submission Guidelines and Entry
- The contest is open from 12:01 a.m. January 7, 2021 Kigali/East Africa Time (EAT) and closes at 11:59 p.m. January 20, 2022. Late submissions will not be considered. The CEGS team will select finalists on January 20, 2022. The UGHE community will subsequently vote on the final selections and a winner will be identified and notified on January 21, 2022.
- All entries must be submitted here. Submissions will require include the full name(s) of the person(s) who designed the logo, email address(es), and WhatsApp phone number(s). Allowable logo formats include .jpg, .tiff, .pdf, and word formats. Logos must be compressed to less than 10MB in size for upload.
- Multiple submissions per person(s) is acceptable. Each submission must be sent in a separate email.
- There is no contest entry fee.
Logo Design Guidelines and Parameters
The purpose of this contest is to design a logo to be used by the CEGS. The logo’s design should reflect the values of CEGS.
