Course Offering: Preparedness and Response Before the Pandemic & Dynamic Resilience of Health Systems

The University of Global Health Equity (UGHE), Socios En Salud and The Global Learning Collaborative at Partners In Health (PIH) are delighted to offer a new online interactive certificate course Pandemic Preparedness and Response & Dynamic Health System Resilience, brought to you by the three sister organizations. 

The course explores various aspects of preparing for and responding to the global COVID-19 pandemic and what it takes to mitigate risk in terms of equitable and well-funded prevention, care and treatment systems. Course content is designed to explain the evolution of COVID-19 and other pandemics in the context of equity, health system resilience, and a One Health approach. It will review the fundamental principles of pandemic preparedness and response that are equity-focused and evidence-based. Through the case study review, you will analyze strategies for integrating health equity as a central principle for success in overcoming COVID-19 and other infectious disease outbreaks.
